Cancellations
Should you need to cancel your order please contact Cocoa & Crumbs via info@cocoaandcrumbs.com.au or 0402 439 696. A partial refund will be provided upon review of your order. Please note a $20 cancellation fee will be deducted from any refund.
If you require to postpone your order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss options for your order.
Changes to your order
For changes to your order, please contact Cocoa & Crumbs via info@cocoaandcrumbs.com.au or 0402 439 696. Changes made may vary the overall price. No changes can be made within the week of your delivery/pickup date.
Please allow at least 3 business days for additional desserts to your order. Please note this may be subject to availability due to our order capacity and the quantity required. Additional desserts refer to cupcakes and/or cookies that may be added to your order
Allergies
Please refer to our ‘Allergens Breakdown’ page for all allergies and intolerances during the ordering process and ensure all allergens/intolerances are stated in your order. Should you have any concerns regarding allergens please contact Cocoa & Crumbs before placing your order. Whilst the kitchen used at Cocoa & Crumbs produces cakes and desserts that contain allergens, we ensure extra care is taken during the preparation and making of your order, and cleaning of our equipment to avoid cross contamination. It is also important to note that some of the ingredients used may be manufactured on shared production lines, therefore there is no guarantee that traces of allergens won’t be present.
Pick up / delivery
When picking up your order, please transport all boxed cakes and desserts on a flat sturdy surface ideally in the boot or front foot well. For the warmer seasons please ensure the air conditioning is on for the entire duration of your travel. Whereas, in the colder seasons, please prevent the use of the heater during transportation as this can soften and potentially melt the buttercream or any decorations. Please avoid rapid breaking/accelerating when driving and ensure all turns are taken slow and carefully to prevent any damages to the cake and desserts.
For pickups, we will text you the day before your pick-up date to confirm the address along with the timeframe.
For deliveries, timeframes will be confirmed closer to your date via text message. If a change to the delivery location occurs, please contact us as the delivery fee may change.
Storage
Store all boxed cakes and cupcakes in the fridge as soon as they have been delivered or once you have arrived home from pick up. Take out your order out 30 min before your event is starting to place on display. Ensure the room is a cool environment and the cake is not in any direct sunlight as this will significantly soften the buttercream or spoil. Our cakes are not suitable to be put on display for any outdoor events. If your event is situated outside at a venue, please ensure that the cake is put on display no longer than 30min prior to serving.
For venue deliveries, we will contact the venue directly to confirm the delivery timeframe and also confirm refrigeration access. If there is no refrigeration available, we will schedule our delivery accordingly. Cocoa & Crumbs will not take any responsibility for the cake once your order has been delivered (to
venue or residence) or once your order has been picked up.
