FAQ

What are the pick-up and delivery details?

- Pick up is available from Mernda between 10-11am on Fridays and Saturdays. You will receive a text message closer to the date of your pick up that states the pick-up address.

- Deliveries are available on Saturdays only. You will receive a text message closer to your order date that will confirm the delivery timeframe for your order. Please ensure someone will be at the address for delivery to collect your order.

What if my date isn’t available?

- If your event is on a Sunday, you are welcome to order your cake for pick up or delivery the day before on Saturday. Store your cake in the fridge overnight in the box and it will remain fresh for your event on Sunday. Applies to all cakes, cupcakes and dessert cups except for Orchid Bloom cake.

- If your date isn’t available, this may mean that it is past the preferred booking time or fully booked. You are welcome to contact via email or phone as cancellations can occur.

How do I store and transport my cake and/or desserts?

- Store all boxed cakes, cupcakes and dessert cups in the fridge as soon as they have been delivered or once you have arrived home from pick up. Fondant cookies are to be stored in a cool dry environment in the packaging.

- Take out your cake when your event is starting to place on display or a few hours prior to serving to allow the cake to soften slightly.

- When picking up your order, please transport all boxed cakes and desserts on a flat sturdy surface ideally in the boot or front foot well. In warmer seasons, ensure the air conditioning is on for the entire duration of your travel. Whereas, in the colder seasons, prevent the use of the heater during transportation as this can potentially melt the buttercream or any decorations. Avoid rapid breaking/accelerating when driving and ensure all turns are taken slow and carefully to prevent any damages to the cake and desserts.
